The data controller responsible for your personal data is Yi Qi Culture Media Co., Ltd. ("YiQi", "we", "us"), a culture and media company based in Foshan, Guangdong, China, and part of the beQ Entertainment group (Italy).

02Data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to give us. We do not run advertising trackers or build behavioural profiles. Specifically:

Contact form
Your name, email address, company / studio, country, the type of help you need, and the message you write.
Email to us
If you write to us directly, whatever you include in your email.
Consent record
The fact, date and time that you ticked the consent box, kept as proof that consent was given.
Technical data
Basic connection data (such as IP address and browser type) may be processed by our hosting and form providers to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

Providing this data is voluntary, but without the details marked as required we will not be able to respond to your enquiry.

03Why we use it & legal basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes and, under the GDPR, on the following legal bases:

  • To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request before any possible engagement — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep a record of business correspondence and protect the site from spam and abuse — based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c)).

04Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal data. To operate the contact form and reach you, your submission is processed by a small number of trusted service providers acting as our processors:

  • Lark (collaboration suite used internally by our team) — your enquiry is delivered to a private team channel so we can respond.
  • Web3Forms (form-to-email delivery, servers in the United States) — used to forward a copy of your enquiry to our company inbox.
  • beQ Entertainment (our parent group, Italy) — relevant enquiries may be shared internally within the group to handle your request.

Each provider only processes your data to deliver its service, under appropriate terms.

05International transfers

Because we operate in China and use providers located in the United States and the European Union, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where data of individuals in the EEA is transferred outside it, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers' standard contractual clauses) or on your explicit consent for the specific transfer. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards in place.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to handle your request and for our legitimate business records. As a guide:

  • Messages received in our team channel and company inbox are kept for the duration of our correspondence and a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Submissions held by our form provider are stored for up to 30 days and then deleted by them.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see your rights below).

Subject to applicable law, and in particular under the GDPR for individuals in the EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Ask us to erase your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict or object to our processing;
  • Receive your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

08Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It may use a small amount of local browser storage strictly necessary to make the site work (for example, to remember your interface preferences). No tracking profile is created.

09Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond appropriately if an issue arises.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
